9th International Cartoon & Caricature Competition – International Caricature Festival in Africa (FICA 2026), Morocco

Theme:
Cartoon Section: A World Without War – Peaceful coexistence, fraternity without borders, harmony among peoples, dialogue instead of violence, and a world where peace replaces weapons.
Caricature Section: Satirical portrait of Moroccan cartoonist Abdellah Derkaoui.

Deadline:
October 7, 2026

Regulations:
Open to all cartoonists and caricaturists worldwide.
Participation implies full acceptance of the competition rules and the jury's final decisions.
Cartoon Section: Maximum of 2 entries per artist.
Caricature Section: Maximum of 1 entry per artist.
Entries must not have been previously published, exhibited, or awarded in Morocco or abroad.
Artwork specifications: A4 size, 300 dpi, JPG/JPEG format, free technique.
The submission email must include the artist's full name, country, full postal address, and WhatsApp number.
Entries that do not comply with the regulations will be disqualified.
Selected and award-winning works will be exhibited at the official FICA 2026 exhibition in Agadir, Morocco.
The organizers reserve the right to reproduce submitted works for non-commercial promotional purposes (print, websites, newspapers, posters, invitation cards, etc.) without additional permission or payment.
Submitted artworks will remain the property of the festival organizers.
Jury members participate only in the exhibition as honorary guests and are not eligible for competition awards.
