Subject: Sri D.K. Shivakumar, Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka. The contest description highlights his public career, integrity, perseverance, engagement with the public, respect for freedom of expression, and his reputation as “Chanakya” and a “trouble shooter.”

Rules and Regulations:

AI-developed caricatures will not be accepted.

The entry must be a new work and must not be a copy of a work submitted to other contests.

Each entry must be accompanied by a covering letter containing the artist’s full name, postal address, contact number, and email ID.

The artist must confirm that the work is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

By entering the contest, the artist grants the Indian Institute of Cartoonists a limited, royalty-free right and licence to publish and publicly display the entries for non-commercial purposes, including publicity for the contest and awards.

The decision of the jury regarding the selection of caricatures for prizes is final.

Artwork size: A3, 29.7 × 42 cm, with a minimum resolution of 200 DPI.

Image format: JPG or PNG.

Prizes:

1st Prize: Rs. 1,00,000

2nd Prize: Rs. 50,000

3rd Prize: Rs. 25,000

Results: The results will be announced in the middle of December 2026.

Exhibition: Selected caricatures will be exhibited at the Indian Cartoon Gallery in January 2027.
