Biography
Russ Cook - UK
Russ Cook is a freelance caricature artist and illustrator who lives and works in Oxford, UK.
He is self taught and has been creating caricatures privately and professionally since the late 1990s which has seen him expand from using traditional tools such as acrylic paint on canvas, pen, ink and pencil to embrace digital hardware such as drawing tablets and computers.
I produce everything from illustrations and caricature for domestic and commercial clients as well as design and sign making for businesses in Oxford.
My client base isn't confined to the UK as I've successfully enjoyed commissions and projects in Europe and beyond.
My main area of work is caricature and comic illustration - but I'm interested in all styles and disciplines of 2d art.
I use traditional tools such as pens, pencils and paints as well as digital software to produce an eye-popping finish.
