Pierre Ballouhey, born November 24, 1944 in Saint-Marcellin in Isere, is a French illustrator and cartoonist.
He studied at the Arts Deco in Grenoble, then at the Beaux - Arts in .
He works for the group France-Illustrations, where he creates visuals of national campaigns for 3M or L'Oreal among others .
He also draws for various titles, including The Guardian, Sine Hebdo or 60 million consumers .
It also illustrates books for the youth edition Copain des Bois, Cabins and shelters or The freshwater fishing (Milan Presse), Tic-Tac clock (Nathan).
He also works on Pinocchio and La Case by Uncle Tom (Scandinavia in Copenhagen) and Velo Magazine (Glenat).
He is also involved in various school books.
He taught press drawing at Ecole Emile-Cohl in Lyon1 and is president of France-Cartoons, an association of French-speaking cartoonists. He is also a member of Cartooning for Peace.
