Organizer: The Iraqi Caricature House

The Iraqi Caricature House invites caricaturists from Iraq and around the world to participate in the 5th International Caricature Competition and Exhibition, dedicated to the great Iraqi artist Dhiaa Al-Hajjar, as part of the celebration of the 95th Anniversary of Iraqi Cartoon Day 2026.

Topics

1. Caricature portrait of the artist Dhiaa Al-Hajjar.
2. Cartoon about electronic payment culture and the use of the SuperQi application.
3. Cartoon about human rights, including peace, war, children and international laws.

Rules and Regulations

1. Each artist may participate with up to 3 drawings.
2. Submitted artworks must not have previously participated in any exhibition. Works that have previously been exhibited will be excluded from the competition.
3. Artwork must be submitted in JPG format, at 300 dpi resolution, with dimensions of 2000 pixels in width and height, and in A3 format.
4. Each participating artist must submit a biography/CV including full name, country and address, telephone number, email address, and a brief introduction to their artistic activities, works and achievements.
5. By submitting an artwork, the artist explicitly grants the organizing committee the right to use, publish and archive the submitted artwork, while preserving the artist’s moral and intellectual property rights.
6. AI-generated artworks are not accepted and will be excluded from the competition.
7. The best artworks for inclusion in the exhibition will be selected by a specialized artistic committee.

Prizes

There will be prizes for the three best entries in each section:

First Prize: US$600

Second Prize: US$450

Third Prize: US$300
