Theme:
“Xikou • Village • Future”. Artists are invited to create cartoon works inspired by Xikou Town, Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. Works may focus on Xikou’s landscapes, local specialties, notable figures, cultural heritage, rural development, and its vision for the future. Artists unfamiliar with Xikou may consult reference materials through WeChat Official Accounts such as Zhejiang Future Village College and Xikou Future Village, other online platforms by searching for “Longyou Xikou,” and the official resource pack provided by the curatorial team.

Regulations: Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 electronic works. No physical originals are required. Works must be submitted in JPG format, A4 or A3 size, at a resolution of 300 DPI. All participants must complete the official application form. Submitted works must be original. AI-generated works are also eligible, but they must be clearly identified in the designated section of the application form. The competition is open to art enthusiasts aged 16 and above from China and abroad. A total of 200 works will be presented in the exhibition, including 150 selected through the open call and 50 specially invited works. The selection will take place from November 25 to November 27, 2026. The selected works will be publicly displayed from November 29 to December 3, 2026, for originality verification and public supervision. Any objections must be submitted with supporting evidence to the submission email. Selected participants will receive an electronic exhibition catalogue and an electronic certificate of participation. The organizer reserves the right to use submitted works for non-commercial purposes, including publication, printing and exhibition. If any work is selected for derivative product development, a licensing agreement will be arranged to protect the artist’s attribution and commercial rights.

Participants: The call is open to domestic and international art enthusiasts aged 16 and above. The exhibition will present 200 works in total, comprising 150 open-call works and 50 specially invited works.
