Theme: PLAN B. Is another world (im)possible? Pandemics, floods, famines, droughts and wars...
1. The contest is open to all cartoonists, cartoonists, illustrators, satirists, graphic designers, etc. professionals and non-professionals, Italians (or residents in Italy) and adults. You can apply for participation out of competition. This request excludes the author from the assignment of the Prizes.
2. The proposed theme is: PLAN B. Is another world (im)possible? Pandemics, floods, famines, droughts and wars… is our planet at the terminal stage? Are we at a tipping point or is there still hope? The behaviors adopted so far have failed, is there a plan B to save us?
3. Each author can participate with a maximum of 3 (three) works, cartoons, cartoons or strips. It is requested that the submitted works are not published on social networks during the period of the competition until the winning works are announced.
4. The works must be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address:info@premiocartoonsea.it together with the participation form with all the author's data. Format of the works: the works, created in any technique, in color or in black and white, must be in GIF, JPG, TIFF, PNG or PDF format. Image size: min. A4 – max. A3 with 300dpi resolution.
5. The deadline for admission to the competition is set for 1 July 2023 at 24.00
6. Acceptance of the works, selection and awarding of prizes is the exclusive competence of the Jury appointed by SEA. The Jury's judgment is unquestionable and unappealable.
7. The competition includes the following Prizes:
no. 1 GRANPRIX CARTOONSEA – 1,000 euros
no. 2 PRIX CARTOONSEA ex aequo – 500 euros each
no. 1 "FRANCO ORIGONE" SPECIAL PRIZE - 200 euros The works selected from all those sent will be part of the exhibition which will take place in Fano from 26 August to 10 September 2023 and will be published in the CARTOONSEA 2023 catalogue.
8. The results of the Jury will be made known to all participating authors by e-mail.
9. All selected authors will be sent a copy of the catalogue.
10. The organizing body reserves the right to reproduce and disseminate the works in the press and/or other means of communication, quoting the author, without provision of any compensation.
11. Participation in the Competition implies full acceptance of these Regulations.
