Artist
Biography
Alves is a cartoonist and has a master's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. His works have been published in the newspapers "Folha de Sao Paulo", "Hoje em Dia", "0 Tempo", "Diario da Tarde", "0 Tempo", "0 Estado de Minas" and "Super Noticias". He also published cartoons, cartoons, illustrations and comics in the periodicals "Revista Continente", "Mad" and "Le Monde Diplomatique Brasil". His works were published in France, Serbia and Poland. His works were exhibited in individual and collective exhibitions in Brazil, France and Portugal. He is the author of the books "A Rua de La. (2012)", "Cerrado em Quadrinhos (2015)" and "Lobo-Guard e Lobeira (2020)". Currently, in addition to working as a freelance illustrator and comic book artist, he is responsible for the pages "Cerrado em Quadrinhos", "Piter Gast" and "Material Poetico" on instagram, facebook and twitter.
