Regulations
Participation is open to all professional artists over 18 years of age.
Each participant may submit a maximum of 5 works.
The organization reserves the right to invite artists directly.
Works must be signed.
Technique and medium are free.
Maximum size:
A3 (297 × 420 mm)
Vertical format is preferred because the exhibition catalogue will follow these proportions.
Artificial Intelligence
The use of AI tools is permitted only if clearly declared.
Any AI involvement during the creative process must be explicitly stated by the author.
Digital Submissions
Files must be submitted in:
JPG or TIFF format
Minimum resolution: 300 dpi

It is recommended to also send a printed and signed copy, indicating the copy number (for example: Copy 1 of X).

Works must be properly packed.
Artists are responsible for shipping costs and customs expenses.
The organizers assume no responsibility for loss or damage during transport.
Selection Process
A selection committee will choose the works to be exhibited at the XXXIII International Exhibition of the Arts of Humor.
Selected works will be exhibited in Alcalá de Henares between September and November 2026.
Awards
No monetary prizes or competition awards have been announced.
Selected artists will receive:
A copy of the official exhibition publication/catalogue.
Jury
A selection committee appointed by the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humor will evaluate the submitted works.
Individual jury members have not yet been announced.
Copyright and Ownership
Unless otherwise indicated, submitted works become part of the collections of the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humor.
Artists wishing their works to be returned must clearly write:
"RETURN"
on the back of the artwork.
By participating, artists authorize the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá to reproduce and disseminate the works for exhibition promotion and cultural activities, always with proper credit to the author.
The organizers reserve the right not to exhibit works that violate individual or collective rights.
Participants are responsible for the originality of their works and any intellectual property claims.
