Participants must create cartoons featuring the image of Nasreddin Hodja while addressing the subject of human rights.

Regulations

Participation is open to cartoonists from all over the world.

Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 cartoons.

Only cartoons created in 2026 are eligible.

Cartoons that have received awards in other competitions are not accepted.

Works produced using Artificial Intelligence (AI) will not be accepted.

Cartoons must be in:

A4 or A3 format

Digital submissions must be sent as:

JPEG or TIFF

300 dpi

Maximum 3 MB per cartoon

Submitted together with:

Benefits for Award Winners

Award-winning artists will be invited to the cartoon and humor events held in Akşehir.

Transportation and accommodation expenses of the awarded artists will be covered by the organizers.

Copyright

All submitted cartoons will be archived by the Cartoonists Association at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cartoon and Humor Center.

Participants grant Akşehir Municipality and the Cartoonists Association the non-commercial right to reproduce, publish, disseminate, and process submitted works.

Participation implies full acceptance of all competition regulations.
