Belgian cartoonist Luc Descheemaeker (°1955) with the 'pen name 'O-SEKOER' is teaching art and culture in the Institute of Saint-Joseph in Torhout. He makes cartoons and humorphotographs and is winner of more then 180 international cartoon awards. Sekoer... 'Mr. Sekoer' to the foreign tongue speakers that cannot quite fathom the phonetically transcribed Flemisch pun in the comic artist's nom de plume, O-SEKOER, on the French 'au-secours or the English 'help' - all in capital letters and fully hyphenated between the-O and the -S.
