Theme: QUARREL – IN THE CITY

The competition invites cartoonists to explore quarrels, conflicts, disagreements, and humorous situations in everyday urban life.

Deadline for submission: November 6, 2026.

Eligibility: Open to everyone, regardless of age, nationality, experience, or professional status.

Number of works: Each participant may submit 1 to 3 cartoons.

Type of work: Silent cartoons only. Text and words are not permitted in the artwork.

Technical specifications: A4 format, RGB colour mode, JPEG file format, 300 dpi resolution, maximum file size of 10 MB.

Submission method: Entries must be submitted through the online registration form.

Prizes: First Prize: Cash prize amount not confirmed, plus an exclusive T-shirt featuring a design by Dado Kovačević. Second Prize: Cash prize amount not confirmed. Third Prize: Cash prize amount not confirmed. People’s Choice Award: An exclusive T-shirt featuring a design by Dado Kovačević.

Certificates and catalogue: All participants will receive a digital certificate of participation. Submitted works will be included in the online ZeGeBOOM electronic catalogue.

Selection of winners: Winners will be selected by a jury, alongside an online public voting process.

Competition schedule: October 6 – November 6, 2026: Submission period. November 7–25, 2026: Jury evaluation and online public voting. November 30, 2026: Official announcement of the results. December 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM: Exhibition opening at the Modular Gallery of the Trešnjevka Cultural Centre in Zagreb, Croatia. December 1, 2026 – January 15, 2027: Exhibition and online presentation of submitted works. January 2027: Digital certificates will be sent by email, and prizes will be delivered by post.
