Participation: Open to individual artists. Joint works by a writer and an artist are also accepted.
Number of Works: Each participant may submit up to 4 works. Works must be original and previously unpublished.
Format: Works may be created using traditional or digital techniques. Maximum size: A3. Digital works: JPG, 300 dpi. Works must be suitable for publication on paper and must be signed.
Language: Works may be submitted in Spanish, English, or any of the official languages of Spain.

Entry Form: The entry form must include the participant’s full name, telephone number, date of birth, complete postal address, email address and category.
Prizes:
General Category
First Prize: €2,000
Second Prize: €1,000
Spanish Universities Category
First Prize: €500
Second Prize: €250
Jury: The jury will be appointed by the Quevedo Institute of Humor Arts, the University of Alcalá and the GIN Foundation. The jury may declare prizes void or modify the distribution of prizes.
Results: The decision is expected within three months after the submission deadline. Winners will be notified and the results will be published on the organizers’ websites.
Exhibition and Publication: A selection of the best submitted works may be included in an exhibition. Winning and selected works may also be published on the websites of the organizers and related institutions.
Copyright: By participating, artists authorize the organizers to use the submitted works, with the author’s name, for purposes related to the promotion and dissemination of the competition, humor and scientific outreach.
