Ziaie has authored many books and articles and has been published in Iranian and foreign publications.
Mohammad Rafi Ziai is also the father of Laleh Ziai , an Iranian cartoonist.
Mohammad Rafi Ziai died of a heart attack at his home in Tehran at midnight on July 21.
