🎯 Purpose of the Exhibition
The Manga Pandemic Web Exhibition 2025 marks the 6th edition of this well-established online exhibition series, held annually since 2020.
This exhibition focuses on how we, as human beings, confront and reflect on the Coronavirus pandemic, which continues to affect societies around the world. The project was launched as a fully online submission and exhibition platform, making use of the limitless expressive potential and international reach of manga and illustration.
📝 Submission Guidelines
🎨 Theme
Works must be related to one of the following themes:
Pandemic
Peace
Pandemic + Peace
All submissions must be new, unpublished works created during the application period.
📊 Number of Submissions
Up to 10 works per person or group.
📐 Size & Format
Any size and shape are accepted.
💾 File Requirements
Format: JPEG
Maximum file size: 5 MB
Resolution: At least 2000 pixels on the longest side
File name: Use the title of the artwork as the file name.
If submitting multiple works with the same title (e.g. Untitled), please name them Untitled_1, Untitled_2, etc.
🌐 Language
Japanese or English.
If necessary, a Japanese–English translation will be provided for exhibition purposes.
🎨 Color
Both monochrome and color works are accepted.
📤 Submission Method
Please submit your work by email.
Include the following information in the body of the email:
Theme of the work (pandemic, peace, or pandemic + peace)
Artist’s name (pen name accepted; please include Romanized spelling if applicable)
Title of the work (Japanese and English)
Nationality
Date of production
The work must be newly created during the application period and unpublished
Contact information (email address and phone number)
👁️ Items 1–5 will be made public as part of the exhibition.
✅ Eligibility
Open to both professionals and amateurs, residing in Japan or abroad.
