Biography
Sait Munzur - Turkey
Sait Munzur was born in Kemaliye, Erzincan in 1959.
His first caricature was published in Girgir magazine in 1973.
In 1982, he collected selected caricatures in the book, Gulduk Yine de.
Between 1983 and 1984, Munzur published his caricatures in the magazine Sifir.
He has also published his caricatures in newspapers and many magazines including Ulus, Yeni Halkci, Baris, Ekspres, Zafer, and Cagdas Mizah.
In addition, Munzur has published many books for children.
Besides his two solo exhibitions, he has participated in numerous caricature competitions, and has been awarded many prizes in Turkey and abroad.
In 2011, Munzur received Besiktas Municipality Honorable Award in the 16th Nehar Tublek Caricature Competition.
