Biography
Currently I'm on the staff of Slate.com and am a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
I've worked for nearly everything in print over the years, with long associations at Business Week, Time and Newsweek.
I did the poster and collateral illustrations for the movie Sideways.
I've drawn over twenty books for children, from Simon & Shuster, Disney Hyperion, and Harper Collins, among others.
Many I write myself, and I've also worked with best selling authors Sarah Weeks and John Lithgow. My very first, Wow! City! won an ALA notable award for 2007.
A long time New Yorker, I live with my lovely wife Ruth and two boisterous kids on the shoulder of Iron Mountain, in Park City, Utah. We have twenty pets, including fish big enough to eat.
