Biography
I have drawn all my life, it was at the age of 14 that my journey to become a cartoonist began. I started publishing cartoons by order in the newspaper Novedades de Tabasco, where I felt attracted by the daily "andanzas" of the press. Later I jumped to another newspaper, Tabasco Hoy where I collaborated for approximately 1 year. I entered the National Autonomous University of Mexico to study Communication Sciences and Journalism and I paid for my studies by publishing illustrations in various media. I published cartoons in the newspaper El Día and illustrations in MAX magazine and Cinepremiere.
I was the winner of the national caricature contest organized by the newspaper El Universal, which is like a dream come true, since I have always admired the work of Naranjo and Helioflores and today I occupy the space that my great idols have occupied. In short, although I do many activities to get ahead, such as entrepreneurship and teaching, the truth is that I consider myself a full-time cartoonist and illustrator. Later I collaborated in Daily Milenio and in many magazines such as QUO, México desconocido, Alto Nivel, FORBES and many more. I have also had the opportunity to win an international caricature contest in Italy and a second place in China, as well as some honorable mentions.
