Biography
I was born in Stoke on Trent in 1969 and I've always loved to draw and paint.
When I was in my teens I developed a fascination with the different qualities of the human face, the subtle/huge differences between one person to another.
The changes our facial features undergo as we age and grow.
My accidental stumbling into caricature art taught me that we can exagerate these features yet still capture the essence of the subject and therefore retain the likeness.
Whether it be caricature or portrait.
