Born in Barcelona where I actually reside, raised in an interesting cultural mix with a Filipino mother and a Catalan father. My childhood and adolescence were marked by a creative atmosphere. I grew up surrounded by fantastic wooden model planes that my father used to build, by my mother’s sculptures, and by both my grandmother’s embroidery and crochet creations.

Drawing, painting, dancing and playing with baskets full of thread and cloth, led me naturally, upon finishing the High school to take up simultaneously the career of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and Contemporary dance. I also had the opportunity of working at the studio of my uncle, the sculptor Roberto Abraham, who introduced me in the art of working and soldering with different metals. Since I have always considered that Arts and Philosophy are inseparable, I have recently obtained my Philosophy Degree at the University of Barcelona. Also I have assisted embroidery courses in Jaipur (India) and at Central Saint Martin’s in London .

My work is inspired upon the observation of Nature and its processes, as well as upon the magic that hides behind daily life. I work with different techniques and materials: drawing, sewing, embroidery, painting, crochet-sculpture, etc, depending upon the theme that I wish to develop at determined moment.
