Chris Gash is a conceptual illustrator working for editorial, book and corporate clients and his work is represented by Synergy Art in London.
Partial client list includes The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, Scientific American, Worth, Nautilus, Forbes, The Washington Post, Money, ESPN, The Boston Globe, Fortune, Variety, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Booth School of Business, Golf Digest, Bloomberg Businessweek, McKinsey, Southwest, Little, Brown & Co., American Medical Association, Harvard University, Barnes & Noble, Nickelodeon, Delta Airlines, Scholastic, Wells Fargo, the BBC, New York University, Fred & Friends, EmDash, Pentagram and many others.
Chris's work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, 3x3, Creative Quarterly and SILA, and two of his illustrations were included in The Illustrated Letter show at the New York Times.
Also, Chris had the honor of one of his OpEd illustrations being included in The New York Times Notable Opinion Art of 2014, 20 selected from the 1400 assigned that year. Most recently, in May 2016, Chris won a Lisagor journalism award for best illustrations in a monthly publication (Chicago Magazine).
Chris Gash has been teaching in the Illustration and Animation program at Montclair State University for 8 years and one of his syllabi was included in Steve Heller and Marshall Arisman's book Teaching Illustration.
