Valentin Gubarev was born in 1948 in Gorki (Novgorod).
Since 1975 he has been living in Minsk.
He is a member of the Belarusian Artists Union.
Since 1991 he has been a participant of Republican and International exhibitions of paintings.
Personal exhibitions of the artist were successfully held in many countries of Europe. works of Valentin Gubarev are preserved at the State Art Museum of Belarussia, Museum Zimmerly in the USA, as well as in galleries and private collections in Europe.
