Rhonald Blommestijn (Amsterdam, 1961) is a Dutch illustrator, graphic designer and animator. Works with the artist / illustrator Els Beijderwellen.
Their way of working is characterized by an emphasis on content-relevant ideas.
The style and technique of execution vary greatly because they are adapted to what makes the idea the best.
Techniques: (acrylic) paint, ballpoint pen and photo collage.
Recent work is usually a combination of classical techniques, photography and especially digital editing.
Blommestijn worked as a graphic designer and especially illustrator for magazines and newspapers, among others: Elsevier, Avenue, Elegance, Man, Opzij, The New Yorker, Time Magazine, The Economist, Focus, Stern, Adformation, Golfers Magazine, Intermediary and Newspapers NRC Handelsblad / NRC Magazine, Next, Free Netherlands, Financial Daily, De Volkskrant, The Times, Wall Street Journal, De Standaard, La Repubblica.
