Born in Rhodes, Greece.
Since 1985 he has been working as an editorial cartoonist in Greek newspapers and magazines.
Currently he works at the “Efimerida ton Syntakton” newspaper and the street magazine “shedia”. He cooperates with Courrier International and he is a member of the syndicate Caglecartoons.

He participated in many solo or group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, such as The Hague Sculpture-GIANTS, The Netherlands (2004),
“G20”, Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburg (2009),
A new interpretation of the myth of Erisichthon, Academy of Athens-Goulandris Natural History Museum (2010),
Salus Patrie, Kydonieos Foundation, Andros-Greece (2012),
‘Tricromia’ Gallery, Rome (2015),
‘Fifty-fifty’ Gallery, Dusseldorf (2016), etc.

He has received awards in various cartoon contests in Spain, Belgium, Italy, Serbia, Greece, Portugal, the Netherlands and he has been awarded with:
the Grand Prix at the World Press Cartoon, 2013,
the First Prize at the Ranan Lurie UN Political Cartoon Award, 2008,
the Grand Prix at the 7th Biennial of Tehran, 2005,
the Grand Prix at the International Cartoon Exhibition of the Humor Museum of Fene, La Coruna-Spain, 2005,
the Gran Premio Internazionale Scacchiera at the exhibition Humoristi a Marostica, Italy, 2005,
the First Prize at the 23rd International Cartoon Competition at Trento, Italy, 2015,
the Second Prize at the International Human Rights Cartoon Contest, Ankara, 2014, etc.

As a children’s books illustrator he has been awarded with the Illustration Prize of IBBY-Greece in 2002 and with the First Prize on Design and Illustration in 2006.
 

Since 2011 he has been working on innovative projects of the use of cartoons in education (www.educartoon.gr).
