David Pintor - Spain
David Pintor was born in a seaside windy city named A Coruna, in the northwest of Spain.
He began his career as a cartoonist in the 90’s. In 2007, he was featured in the illustrator’s exhibition at Bologna book fair, and since that time, he has collaborated with publishers all over the world. His caricatures and the simplicity of his drawings, his lines and colour choices make for a fun and elegant style.
David Pintor has been awarded by SND, selected in Bratislava biennial, and selected by White Ravens list.
David Pintor primarily works in Spain, but likes very much travelling all over the world with his moleskine and some pens. All of his travels appear in his drawings.
He loves New York, Venezia, Paris, Sidney, Barcelona, London… David Pintor has a studio, but sometimes he likes to work in a coffee shop with soft music, nice views and a very hot coffee on the table.
