The Results Of 1.International Slowcity Cartoon Contest, Seferihisar-Turkey

In the international "Seferihisar SlowCity Cartoon Contest" organized by Seferihisar Municipality, over 600 cartoons were competing from all over the world. Ukrainian cartoonist Kustovsky Oleksy won first place.

SlowCity cartoon contest was held in front of the municipality in Seferihisar, the first member and capitals of Cittaslow (Calm City), the international network of cities where life is easy. By mail, 180 cartoonists participated in the contest with more than 600 cartoons. Meral Onat, Gurbuz Dogan Eksioglu, Izel Rozental and Toti Buratti took part in the jury of the jury of the jury chairman Kamil Masaraji, the republic newspaper.

CHAMPION UKRAINE

After the applications accepted until March 20, 2017, the jury decided with great sensitivity, examining the works one by one. At the end of the evaluation Ukrainian Calligrapher Kustovsky was elected the first of the Oleksy judges. The second prize was won by Isa YUksel from Turkey and Galym Boranbayev from third place in Kazakhstan.

Special prize of Seferihisar Municipality was given to Bilal Akay from Turkey while Special Prize of Schneider Tempel Art Center was given by Hicabi Demirci from Turkey, Cumhuriyet Newspaper Special Prize from Sajat Rafeei from Iran and Engin Selcuk from Turkish Journalists Association. Scrikss Special Awards Valentine Georgiev from Bulgaria, Omer Pine from Turkey, Violet Pine, Ibrahim Tuncay from Izmir and Izabela Kowalska from Poland.
