The fourth edition of the European Cartoon Award is open for entries, and today we are proud to present its Panel of Judges!

 The best cartoons of this year will be carefully selected among all the entries we will receive by:

  Jury of the 4th European Cartoon Award 2023

 Niels Bo Bojesen, a Danish editorial cartoonist, already on our Panel of Judges 2022. He creates editorial cartoons for the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten as well as international websites, newspapers and magazines.

 Catherine André, a journalist, already on our Panel of Judges 2022. She is the co-founder and editorial director of Voxeurop and deputy-editor-in-chief of the French magazine Alternatives Economiques. Previously, she worked for almost twenty years at Courrier international.

 Jip van den Toorn, a staff cartoonist for De Volkskrant, also working for various Dutch and Belgian media. She has won the World Illustration Award in 2018, the Fiep Westendorp Stimulation prize in 2019 and, in 2022, she won the Inktspotprijs for the best political cartoon of the year.

 Patrick Lamassoure, aka Kak, a French editorial cartoonist. His work can be seen every day on the front page of the daily L’Opinion, and in several weekly magazines. Since 2019, he replaced Plantu as President of Cartooning for Peace.

 Carlos Fuentes, a Cuban cartoonist and graphic designer, and winner of the European Cartoon Award 2022. In 2008, he won a national graphic humour contest. Since then, he has been publishing in the best humorous print media in Cuba and other parts of the world.
