ACCOMPLISHMENT: The Caratinga International Humor Salon is a realization of the Caratinga Cultural Station.

EXPOSURE: The works selected for the competitive show will be exhibited at Casa Ziraldo de Cultura from June 17 to 28, 2024.
MODALITIES - Unpublished works may be presented in three modalities with only 01 (ONE) work per category.
1 – CARTOON / CHARGE – Theme: DIALOGUE
2 – STRIPS /COMIC – DIALOGUE (with text in Portuguese or without text / Maximum of ONE Page)
3 - CARICATURE – theme: FREE (VERTICAL)
4 – CARICATURE TRIBUTE: Ivan Capúa (actor from Caratingu)(boundary of a drawing, VERTICAL)
4th Jal&Gual Festival
The themes of the Festival are:
1 – CARICATURE "CARTOONISTS of BRAZIL" (VERTICAL). Only category that is allowed to submit up to three drawings Note: caricatures of cartoonists Ziraldo and Zélio will not be accepted, as both have already been themes in previous editions.
2 – CARICATURE TRIBUTE: Luis Pimentel (Writer)(boundary of a drawing, VERTICAL)
PARTICIPAÇÃ0 - Artists of any nationality, amateur or professional, over 18 years of age may participate. Each participant will be able to submit unpublished drawings. Drawings that have been awarded until the closing date of registration will not be able to register.

IMPORTANT: The registration will only be carried out by sending in a SINGLE MESSAGE, the drawings registered in all the modalities in which the artist will participate, added with the following information: Full Name / Artistic Name / Address / CPF / RG / Telephone
TECHNIQUES - DIMENSION: 30 cm x 40 cm. The works, unpublished, must be original. The technique is free. Papers printed on coated/A3 paper will also be accepted. The use of the AI – Artificial Intelligence feature will not be allowed
AWARDS: Money: R$ 500.00 (five hundred reais) for the first places in each of the six categories, total of R$ 3,000 (three thousand reais), under the full responsibility of the Municipality of Caratinga.
IMPORTANT:Registrations from abroad must indicate a bank with a branch in Brazil.
TROPHIES: for the top three in each category
Certificates: For the three Honorable Mentions in each category - There will be no more than one award per author in each category. If this happens, the prize will be awarded to the author who obtains the most subsequent scores. - Other awards and mentions may be instituted at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
JUDGING - There will be a selection jury and an award jury composed of qualified people in the area.
The award jury reserves the right not to allocate prizes to categories that do not reach a sufficient level, transferring them to other categories or creating a special Salon award.
If the award jury finds any kind of irregularity, fraud or plagiarism in one or more of the works submitted, it may cancel the award by awarding the same to another artist next in its classification.
The awarded works will be published on the blog and on the Facebook page of the Caratinga Humor Salon after the inauguration and may be contested up to one week after the opening of the salon with reasonable evidence of any irregularity committed without the knowledge of the jury.
All submitted works (awarded or not) will be acquired for the Associação Estação Cultural de Caratinga. The works will be part of the collection of the Caratinga Humor Salon, which will be able to participate in itinerant exhibitions, dissemination in print, television, electronic media and be published in books and magazines. By participating in the contest, the artist will be agreeing to the rules of the regulation. By registering, the author automatically transfers the assignment of the Copyright of his/her works in accordance with Law No. 9610 of February 1988 (Copyright Law) in a total, universal and definitive manner in all modalities of use and free of charge, the copyright, protected by the aforementioned law referring to the work(s) awarded at the International Humor Salon of Caratinga, which becomes part of the to the Cultural Collection for Research and Dissemination of the National Graphic Humor of the Associação Estação Cultural de Caratinga for all the purposes of the rights that it reserves to make of them as it pleases.
The simple registration automatically implies agreement with the terms of this regulation.

Ödül jürisi, gönderilen eserlerden bir veya birkaçında herhangi bir usulsüzlük, sahtekarlık veya intihal tespit ederse, sınıflandırmasında bir sonraki başka bir sanatçıya vererek ödülü iptal edebilir.
Ödül alan eserler, açılıştan sonra Caratinga Mizah Salonu'nun blogunda ve Facebook sayfasında yayınlanacak ve salonun açılışından bir hafta sonrasına kadar, jürinin bilgisi dışında yapılan herhangi bir usulsüzlüğe dair makul kanıtlarla itiraz edilebilecek.
Gönderilen tüm eserler (ödüllendirilmiş olsun ya da olmasın) Associação Estação Cultural de Caratinga için satın alınacaktır. Eserler, gezici sergilere katılabilecek, basılı, televizyon, elektronik medyada yayılabilecek ve kitap ve dergilerde yayınlanabilecek olan Caratinga Mizah Salonu koleksiyonunun bir parçası olacak. Sanatçı, yarışmaya katılarak yönetmelik kurallarını kabul etmiş olacaktır. Yazar, kayıt yaptırarak, Şubat 1988 tarihli 9610 sayılı Kanun (Telif Hakkı Kanunu) uyarınca eserlerinin Telif Hakkının devrini tüm kullanım şekillerinde tam, evrensel ve kesin bir şekilde ve ücretsiz olarak otomatik olarak devreder, telif hakkı, Caratinga Uluslararası Mizah Salonu'nda verilen eser(ler)e atıfta bulunarak yukarıda belirtilen kanunla korunan telif hakkı, Associação Estação Cultural de Caratinga'nın Ulusal Grafik Mizahının Araştırılması ve Yaygınlaştırılması için Kültürel Koleksiyona, bunları istediği gibi yapma hakkını saklı tuttuğu tüm amaçlar için.

XXXI International Exhibition of Arts of Humor 2024
The Quevedo Institute of Arts of Humor through The General Foundation of the University of Alcalá announces the XXXI International Exhibition of Arts of Humor around the subject «Billionaires». There will be more information about the subject in the website iqh.es.
1. Participation is open to all the persons older than 18.
2. In order to participate in the Exhibition, every artist must send a piece on the theme «Billionaires». It can be a vignette, a comic strip or a caricature. The organization reserves the right to invite those authors that the organization members agree to consider important for the exhibition.
3. The works must be original and must be signed. They can be made with any technique and in any format, with maximum dimensions of A3 (297x420 mm), and preferably in portrait format for printing in the catalogue.
4. All art pieces will be sent before June 2nd 2024. Together with the piece, the authors must send the filled formulary attached to these requirements.

For digital works, they must be made in formats JPG or TIFF with a
minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and they must be sent to miah@iqh.es.
It is essential to comply with the noted date for the adequate planning of the catalogue and design of the exhibition.
5. Entries sent by post must be suitably packaged. It is recommended to protect them with flat cardboard. The organization won't take responsibility on any possible damage occurred during transportation. Mailing costs will be the responsibility of the participants in this call, and the organisation will not assume any costs (e.g. customs charges) or any liability in the event of damage or loss of the work.
6. A Selection Comission will carry out a selection of the pieces submitted, that will be exhibited in the XXXI Internacional Exhibition of the Arts of Humor in
september-november.
7. All pieces submitted will be kept at the Graphic Humour Archives of the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá, except specific indication to the contrary, for which the artist must write on the reverse of the piece “Devolución/Return”.

8. The submission of the piece means that the author authorizes the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá to reproduce it and exhibit it, as long as the name of the artist is displayed and the objective is the media coverage of the Exhibition and the rest of activities of the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá within the field of Graphic Humour and/or of this call (edition of catalogues, posters, leaflets, media coverage, web page, etc.), and in any case it generates any type of obligation on the author's part.
9. The organization will communicate through the Exhibition web page the list of participants with submitted piece and the list of selected pieces.
10. At the end of the exhibition in Alcalá, those people with selected pieces will receive a copy of the catalogue, which will be edited to mark the celebration of the Exhibition.
11. The organization reserves the right to not exhibit those pieces considered to infringe individual or collective rights.
12. The participants will be responsible before any claim on the authorship of the works. The organization will not be responsible before any claim made by a third party upon the violation of intellectual rights or property of the works.
13. The participation on this Exhibition means the acceptance of these conditions of entry

2.- Sergiye katılmak için "MİLYONERLER" temalı en fazla 5 eser sunulmalıdır. Bir çizgi film, şerit veya karikatür olabilir. Kuruluş, uygun gördüğü yazarları davet etme hakkını saklı tutar.
3.- Eserler imzalanmalıdır. Katalog bu oranları takip edeceğinden, maksimum A3 (297×420 mm) boyutlarında, tercihen dikey olarak herhangi bir teknik ve destekte yapılabilirler.
4.- Başvurular 2 Haziran'dan önce yapılmalıdır.Çalışma ile birlikte, bu kurallara eşlik eden form usulüne uygun olarak doldurulmuş olarak gönderilecektir.

7.- Sunulan eserler, aksi açıkça belirtilmedikçe, Alcalá Üniversitesi Genel Vakfı'nın Quevedo Mizah Sanatları Enstitüsü'nün koleksiyonlarının bir parçası olacak ve eserin arkasına "Dönüş" kelimesi yazılmalıdır.
8.- Eserin gönderilmesi, yazarın Alcalá Üniversitesi Genel Vakfı'na, adının görünmesi ve amacın Serginin ve FGUA'nın mizah alanındaki diğer faaliyetlerinin yaygınlaştırılması olması koşuluyla, yazara karşı herhangi bir yükümlülük oluşturmadan onu çoğaltma ve yayma yetkisi verdiği anlamına gelir.
9.- Kuruluş, eserlerin alındığını ve seçildiğini elektronik olarak bildirecek, ikinci listeyi iqh.es web sitesinde yayınlayacaktır.
10.- Eser seçimi yapılan yazarlara, Sergi kutlamaları vesilesiyle yayınlanacak yayının bir kopyası verilecektir.
11.- Kuruluş, bireysel veya kolektif hakları ihlal ettiğini düşündüğü eserleri sergilememe hakkını saklı tutar.
12.- Katılımcılar, herhangi bir iddia durumunda eserlerin orijinalliğinden sorumlu olacak, herhangi bir hak veya fikri mülkiyet ihlaline karşı organizasyonu sorumlu tutacaktır.

REGULATION: International Cartoon Contest, the XIXth edition, 2024, Braila, Romania
The running of the contest: from the 15 th of February to the 20 th of September 2024
Theme: EURO 2024 - in offside
Entries: max. 3
The cartoon works will be original and accompanied by a brief biography, photo, addresse and phone number.
The making technique of the cartoons is free.
Submission of the cartoon works: The cartoon works will be sent by e-mail from the 15 th of February to the 10th of July 2024, 2400 o’clock (Romanian local time) to: cartooncontestbraila@gmail.com
The judging process will take place between: the 15th - 31st of July 2024.
Technical conditions:The works will be submitted in electronic format, JPG, 300 dpi resolution, CMYK.
Each submitted cartoon work will contain the author's name and the title of the work, in the file name.
Awarded Prizes:
The BIG prize 1000 EURO
The FIRST prize 700 EURO
The SECOND prize 500 EURO
The THIRD prize 400 EURO
3 SPECIAL prizes 3 x 200 EURO each
The amounts corresponding to the prizes are taxable according to the Romanian legislation in force,at the date of their awarding.
In order to receive the prizes, the winners must send the winning work in original (with the author's signature on the back of the paper) within a maximum of 45 days from the announcement of the winners (on the facebook page of the Organizer: https: //www.facebook .com / Centrul.de.Creatie.Braila, once with the Salon’s opening). The winning works will be accompanied by a statement (annexed to this Regulation) regarding the assignment of copyright for exposure for
an indefinite period as well as personal bank account data (bank name, IBAN code, SWIFT code), through a document issued by bank, lei account (for Romanian competitors), respectively in euro / national currency (for foreign competitors).
The prizes will be offered in RON, at the euro exchange rate of the Romania National Bank from the date of approval of the initial Regulation.
The payment of the prizes is made by bank transfer. The transfer costs will be borne by both parties (Organizer and the winner of the prize), according to the banking legislation. The prizes will be transferred within a maximum of 60 days from the announcement of the winners, in compliance with the legal provisions.
The winning cartoons will be sent by post to the following address: Romania, Brăila, Traian Square, no. 2, postal code 810153.
The Organizer shall not be responsible for the impossibility of a winner to take possession of the prize for reasons not related to it. If the competitor does not comply with the obligations imposed by this regulation, the Organizer is exonerated from any liability.
Note: In the absence of interbank relations between Romania and the country of origin of the winner, the Organizer is exonerated from any liability.
The participants will declare that they own the works and own the copyright of the cartoon works entered in the competition.
By entering the works in the contest, the participants agree on the exhibition of the respective works within the cartoon exhibitions organized in art galleries or museums, assigning the copyrights for the respective works for exposure (the agreement being given implicitly for the promotion of the International Cartoon Contest)
The organizer assumes no responsibility for any infringements of copyright or ownership. The single responsibility lies to the person who submitted the cartoon work.
The winners of the International Cartoon Contest transfer the ownership of the awarded works to the Organizer (Braila County Center for the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture) at the time of sending over the original cartoon works to it.
The winners declare under their own responsibility that they assign the copyright on the cartoon works for the realization of exhibitions in order to promote the event, the institution and the image
of the city, for an indefinite period, by any means.
Exhibitors from the catalog of the edition allow CJCPCT Brăila the right to use the works in order to promote the institution, the city and the salon in Art Galleries, museums, etc.
The contest opening and the awarding ceremony: the 20th of September, 2024.
The organizer will provide accommodation and meals for one day, for the winners who will be present at the opening ceremony.
The organizer will support the travel expenses (assurance/ settlement) for the winner of The Big Prize.
Winners residing in the Municipality of Brăila are exempt from accommodation.
The exceptions to the accommodation are the winners residing in the Municipality of Brăila.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the conditions of the contest; subsequent changes will be communicated to those interested.
The catalog of the International Cartoon Contest, in pdf format, can be downloaded from the institution's website: http://centruldecreatiebraila.ro/ after the Cartoon Contest opening will take place.
Registration for the Cartoon contest is equivalent to taking note of and complying with the Regulation of the International Cartoon Contest.

(08.02.2024 - Lefkoşa) Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar, 07 Şubat 2024 Çarşamba günü, Uluslararası Zeytin Mizah Şenliği Düzenleme Komitesi Üyeleri Serhan Gazioğlu ve Hüseyin Çakmak’ı kabul ederek görüştü.
KKTC Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar, komite üyelerini Kıbrıs Türk Mizah Kültürü ve Sanatı'na yaptıkları katkılar dolayısıyla kutladı.
Kabulde, Düzenleme Komitesi Üyeleri Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar’a Uluslararası Zeytin Mizah Şenliği 11. Uluslararası Karikatür Yarışması Albümü’nü takdim ederek, Zeytinlik köyünde düzenlenen Uluslararası Zeytin Festivali ziyareti kapsamında, festival alanında yer alan Uluslararası Zeytin Karikatürleri Sergisi'ni de ziyaret etmesi vesilesiyle iade-i ziyaret gerçekleştirdiklerini ve karikatür etkinlikleri hakkında bilgi aktardıklarını belirttiler.

A. KATILIM:29. Uluslararası Karikatür Sergisi ZAGREB 2024'ün organizatörü Hırvatistan Karikatürcüler Derneği'dir. Sergi milliyet, cinsiyet ve meslek ayrımı yapılmaksızın 18 yaşını doldurmuş tüm yazarlara açıktır.

A. PARTICIPATION:The organizer of the 29th International Cartoon Exhibition ZAGREB 2024 is Croatian Cartoonist Association. The exhibition is open to all authors over the age of 18, regardless of nationality, gender or profession.
B. THEME: LITERATURE IN CARICATURE - CHARACTERS FROM WORLD FAMOUS BOOKS IN FUNNY SITUATIONS
C. ENTRIES Conditions of entry:
1. Only digital artworks will be accepted: A4 size, 300 dpi, jpeg.
2. Entries can be either black and white or coloured.
3. The works should be named as follows: name.surname.country.number (in case of more than one work)
4. The cartoons must not have been previously awarded on festivals.
5. Maximum 3 entries may be submitted.

Abdallah El-Sawy Mısır Karikatür Mirasını Koruma Vakfı'na bağlı Karikatür Hafıza Projesi, aşağıdaki esaslara göre kadınlarla ilgili bir karikatür sergisi düzenleneceğini duyurur:
Karikatür Bölümü:- Tema: Kadınlar.
Portre Bölümü:- Monira Thabet (1906-1967): Avukat, gazeteci ve kadın hakları savunucusu. Fransız Hukuk Fakültesi'nden lisans derecesi alan ilk Mısırlı kızdı. İlk sendika gazetecisi, ilk siyasi yazar ve bir siyasi gazetenin ilk genel yayın yönetmeniydi. Mısırlı Gazeteciler Sendikası'nın kuruluşuna katkıda bulundu ve Mısırlı kadın gazetecilerin dekanı olarak tanındı.
Koşullar:
- Katılımcılar her bölümde bir çalışma gönderebilirler.
- Eser JPEG formatında, 300 dpi olmalıdır.
- Eserin boyutu 50x35 cm, dosya boyutu maksimum 2 megabayt olmalıdır.
- Sanatçının adı ve ülkesi yazılmalıdır. Örneğin:
ABDALLAH EL-SAWY - MISIR.
- Eserin sergiye özel hazırlanmış olması ve daha önce başka bir yarışma veya sergiye gönderilmemiş olması gerekmektedir.
- Katılımcı sanatçıların eserleri poster, dergi, gazete ve Mısır internet sitelerinde önceden izin alınmaksızın tanıtım amaçlı ve herhangi bir maddi karşılık olmaksızın kullanılabilir.
- Katılımcılara katılım belgesi verilecektir.

Invitation to participate
The caricature Memory Project, affiliated with the Abdallah El-Sawy Foundation for the Preservation of Egyptian Caricature Heritage, announces the organization of a caricature exhibition about women, according to the following guidelines:
Caricature Section:- Theme: Women.
Portrait Section: - Monira Thabet (1906-1967): A lawyer, journalist, and women's rights advocate. She was the first Egyptian girl to obtain a license degree from the French Law School. She was the first union journalist, the first political writer, and the first editor-in-chief of a political newspaper. She contributed to the establishment of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate and was known as the dean of Egyptian female journalists.
Conditions:
- Participants can submit one work in each section.
- The artwork should be in JPEG format, 300 dpi.
- The size of the artwork should be 50x35 cm, with a maximum file size of 2 megabytes.
- The artist's name and country should be written. For example:
ABDALLAH EL-SAWY - EGYPT.
- The drawing should be specifically created for the exhibition and should not have been previously submitted to any other competition or exhibition.
- The artwork of participating artists may be used in posters, magazines, newspapers, and Egyptian websites without prior permission for promotional purposes without any financial compensation.
- Participants will receive a participation certificate.
- Artworks should be sent to the following email:

YARIŞMA KONUSU:Bağımlılıklar, doğal olmayan afetlerdir.”
Yeşilay dünyanın, ülkemizin ve özellikle gençlerin bağımlılıklara karşı dikkatini çekmek ve farkındalık oluşturmak amacıyla Uluslararası Yeşilay Karikatür Yarışması’nı düzenliyor.
Bu yıl 8’ncisi düzenlenecek olan yarışma ile bağımlılıklarla mücadelede dünyanın dört bir yanından karikatür sanatçılarını dâhil ederek çizgilerine kattıkları mizah unsuruyla oluşturdukları etkileyici mesajları topluma aktarılması hedefleniyor.
Yarışmanın Konusu: “Bağımlılıklar, doğal olmayan afetlerdir.”
Karikatür yarışmamızın bu yılki teması: “Bağımlılıklar, doğal olmayan afetlerdir.” olarak belirlendi.
Bu tema etrafında; karikatüristlerden, bağımlılıkların; fay hattı metaforuyla son derece büyük bir potansiyel tehdit olduğunu ve önlem alınmadığı sürece kişiyi, aileyi ve toplumu yıkıma sürükleyebileceğini anlatacak, bu hususta farkındalık geliştirmeyi amaçlayan ve etkileyici bir mesaj taşıyan mizahi eserler üretmelerini bekliyoruz.
