Exhibition of Pieter Bruegel cartoons

This year it is 450 years ago that Pieter Bruegel passed away. What would the paintings of Pieter Bruegel the Elder look like, should he use his brushes today?

The City Peer therefore organized a cartoon competition for cartoons based on the works of Bruegel. And cartoonists from 55 countries submitted their drawings!
The work of Pieter Bruegel through the eyes of a Chinese, a Brazilian, a Greek or a Kosovar? Or a Cuban, a Kurd or a Honduran. To say that the Bruegel theme is not only of all times, but also of all directions. This is further proof that Bruegel is still actual 450 years after his death date. With a playful link to the world of today.

You can visit an exhibition of these cartoons in the ECC from 21 April till 30 June 2019, every Sunday from 10 to 12am and from 2 to 5 pm. Groups of 10 persons or more are welcome on other.
