Alberto Ruggieri was born in Rome.
Graduated at Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome.
Since 1989 is working as an illustrator collaborating with many newspapers and magazines and advertising agencies in Italy and abroad.
He has created book covers and illustrated children’s books with various publishers, also works as an editorial projects coordinator and has cared for Editori Riuniti the covers of a number of book series.
For this same publisher was visual editor and coordinator of the series of children’s books “Matite italiane per Gianni Rodari”.
Ruggieri has also served as manager for the illustrations and digital processing of images for the weekly magazine Liberal as well as for the image of the cover for the magazine Avvenimenti.
In the 90s is the author of comic stories monthly published on the magazines Frigidaire and Il Grifo.
He has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Since 2005 Ruggieri teaches illustration at the IED (European Institute of Design) in Rome.
From 2014 he teaches at the RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts), graphic design department.
