Julian De Narvaez - Colombia
I´m an illustrator from Bogota Colombia, South America.
In 2001 after earning a degree in Graphic Design from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia I started a new chapter in life as an illustrator.
With patience, perseverance, and inexhaustible dedication to my craft,I developed my own visual language, which I see as a bridge between traditional illustration and contemporary graphics.
I also attended a web development program at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in 2004, and between 2009 and 2010 I attended a program specializing in media and technologies for artistic production at the National Art Institute IUNA in Buenos Aires Argentina , in 2012 I studied intaglio and printing techniques in the Lower East Side Print Shop, New York.
Among other recognitions is the first National Exhibition of illustrations by the Colombian Chamber of Books in 2008 and an honorable mention / Latino Book Awards 2012 - BookExpo America, EE.UU.
I have been very lucky in my career to have worked over 11 years , with clients from all over the world that have trusted me to craft custom visual solutions for their projects and bring life to their ideas.
My philosophy when approaching a challenge is that no matter what the project, there is always room to give it a unique character.
