Federico Porfiri, 1977, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He is a National Drawing Teacher graduated at Pirilidiano Pueyrredon Fine Arts School and received a degree in Visual Arts from IUNA.
He attended literature workshops coordinated by Oscar Daniell and Valeria Iglesias. At the moment he is studying illustration with Jose Sanabria.
Since 1994 he has produced works for numerous newspapers and magazines from Argentina, Mexico and Spain.
He has illustrated many books and published stories at two short story anthologies.
He took part at collective exhibitions such as Ateneo Popular de la Boca, Telecomunicaciones Museum, Palais de Glace, Recoleta Cultural Centre, Evita Museum, Atenas’ Book Fair, Padova’s Diocesan Museum, Carla Rey Gallery, RG Gallery, Terra Toscana Gallery, Braque Gallery, Vesco-Gorriarena Gallery, Perotti Gallery, Sindicatura General de la Nacion and Congreso de la Nacion Library, among others.
He had his first solo exhibition “El juego de las tramas” in 2012 at Espacio Y Lugar Cultural and he is currently preparing his second solo exhibition in October 2014.
