Antonello Silverini - Italy 
Antonello Silverini (August 21, 1966, Rome) is an Italian illustrator.
He is the first illustrator awarded the prize MAM - Master of Art and Craft in 2016, it is one of the flagship of "illustrators Reading", the cultural supplement of the Corriere della Sera.
It also collaborates with Il Sole 24 Ore, La Repubblica, Panorama, L'Espresso and The Boston Globe. He has designed the covers for the novels of Ian McEwan for Einaudi and those of Philip K. Dick for Fanucci.
His is also the image of the International Film Festival of Rome in 2012.
While still a student he draws more than a year of Lanciostory and Skorpio magazines covers for Eura Editions in the early nineties.
Always very found of cinema, painting and narrative, he is endowed with an infallible memory for details bringing all the layers of his passions in his illustrations.
He continues, still very young, in the illustration and advertising working with major Italian and international agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, TBWA McCann-Erickson, Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson, Bates, Dentsu, Gruppo Armando Testa, Ogilvy & Mather, Baldassarre Carpi Vitelli, Studio Ponzano Art&vertising, Proxima,Yes I am.
In 2002 his works have been selected for the 25th annual American Showcase.
The world of Italian press saw his drawings in 2005 with the Sole 24 ore and La Repubblica. (the most read Italian newspapers). In the same year he won the Academy Award Pictor in Turin and in 2006 the Zavrel prizeTorino and in 2006 the Zavrel prize.
In 2007 his works have been selected for the Lürzer's Archive Special 200 Best Illustrators worldwide.
Since "La Lettura" the Sunday supplement of the Corriere della Sera, was refounded, Silverini has become one of its leading illustrators.
In 2012 he signed the artwork of the Rome Film Festival and also collaborates to the entire campaign of the festival, with the production of a video animation as well.
After illustration covers for Doris Lessing novels of in 2013 Fanucci Editore also asked him the covers of Philip Dick Novels for the celebration of its 25th anniversary.
At the 66th Festival de Cannes (Festival di Cannes 2013) his poster for Ophelia, il cortometraggio di Annarita Zambrano, the short film by Annarita Zambrano in competition for the Palme d'Or.
The Roman Gallery Rosso20sette Contemporary Art hosts in 2014 the personal "Fuori dal quotidiano". The catalog, produced in two different editions has a preface by Vincenzo Mollica and numerous speeches including those of Gianni de Conno, Adriano Attus and Sergio Fanucci.
In 2015 the Einaudi publishing house choose Silverini along with Noma Bar and Shout for the graphic restiling of the book collection Super ET. The Italian book cover of Ian McEwan's novels are signed by Antonello Silverini.
Ascanio Celestini choose the Silverini imagery for the poster of his film “Lunga vita alla sposa” presented in 2015 at the International Venice Film Festival.
Enters in 2016 he joined de " Le eccellenze creative del fumetto e dell'illustrazione di Roma e Lazio ” (a compendium of the best regional cartoonists and illustrators) The volume was presented for the first time at the Festival international de la bande dessinee d'Angouleme.
