Bill Schorr
Award winning editorial and comic strip cartoonist attacks the issues with rich and powerful visuals.
Schorr has won the National Cartoonists Society Award for Best Editorial in 2008 and 1998.
In 1993, he captured first place in the prestigious Fischetti Editorial Cartoon Competition and in 1992 he was named top editorial cartoonist by the National Press Foundation.
Schorr has been editorial cartoonist for the L.A. Herald-Examiner, New York Daily News, Kansas City Star and am New York.
His comic strip "The Grizzwells"about a family of bears is syndicated nationally and internationally by Universal Press / uuclick.
He is now working on a children's book featuring his strip characters.
Schorr has recently branched out into writing and illustrating children's books.
He recently illustrated "Red Roge to the Rescue" for Accord Publishing and two e books "Brainstorm Island" by Dr. Robert Yanover and Ellie Crowe and "Jared's Cool Out Space" by Jane Nelsen phD and Ashlee Wilkin.
