The Individual Caricature Exhibition of Senaid Serdarovic

The exhibition of the late Croatian caricaturist Senaid Serdarovic will be held in the Iranian House of Cartoon. This exhibition contains 70 artworks.

Senaid Serdarevicَ-Seno was born in Zagreb in 1953. He graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Since 1975, he devoted himself to cartoon publishing in numerous magazines in Croatia and abroad. He participated in almost every festival in the world, and won many prizes and awards.

Seno was one of the founders of the Croatian Cartoonist Association and was the Secretary and the President of the same at a time. He was the first Croatian representative at the European Association of Cartoonists FECO. In the weekly magazine INA he had his own section by the name of INEK. He was the orga­nizer of numerous exhibitions that were part of the cycle called “The Chain of Laughter”, and of numerous international festivals in Croatia.

From 1978 to 1990 he was employed at ZAGREB­PLAST, and from 1990 to 1993 at INA-OKI as a pub­lic relation agent.

From 1993 to January 31st 1999 he had his own pri­vate business. His company ART FORMA was suc­cessful in project engineering and constructing fair inte­riors, interiors and stenography, as well as in graphic design and book illustrations.
