The 1^st International Cartoon Competition URZICENI 2006

The 12^ve  Festival “Revelionul Caricaturistilor”
 URZICENI – ROMANIA

The Romanian festival “Revelionul Caricaturistilor” exists since 12 years. The manifestation is being organized by the Cultural Centre Urziceni in collaboration with the City Hall Urziceni. It is the first time that we organize the cartoon competition for authors from all over the world. Your art cartoons will be very welcome in Romania.

Rules of the competition

1. Theme: EUROPA, WE LOVE YOU!

2. The works must be originals. The digital art works are accepted. Copies are not accepted.

3. Dimension of the works: min. A4, max A3.

4. Number of works: max.3

5. The cartoons will stay in our archive to be used in the future anniversary editions of the festival.

6. The jury will meet on 1^st – 3^rd December 2006.

7. Prizes:

First Prize 500 USD
Second Prize 300 USD
Third Prize 150 USD

The organizers will award Mentions and Special Prizes
