The List of winners of the 36th International Salon of Humor - Piracicaba / 2009
The Event's opening was on 29, at Engenho Central, but the exhibition of the selected ones will be open until October,18 at Armazém 14, now, named as Henfil.

Parallel Exhibitions

Besides the official show with the selected works, the Humor Salon holds parallel thematic exhibitions which happens at Engenho Central and many other places in the city.

In this edition, the exhibitions devotes space to the anti-smoking law, with works done by Angeli, Spacca, Adão Iturrusgarrai and others, to the Government campaign.

Feco Brazil Group
The presence of Marlene Pohle and Carlos Brito, both from FECO International, materialized the old dream of creating the Feco Brasil.

With the opening of FECO BRAZIL, the national graphic humor will have more international visibility.

Brazilcartoon is responsible to organize a committee that will help on the organization of an election to the direction members.

The Brazilcartoon also realized, in partnership with the event, the exhibition "Cars and Cars of Tomorrow" that consisted by 60 cartoons selected by the Salon promoted by IranCartoon. Massound, the Irancartoon's director, was on the event sponsored by BrazilCartoon, and was one of the jurorsof 36th International Salon of Piracicaba.

Massound's visit to Brazil had a great importance, it enabled the signing of an International deal of Cooperation between Piracicaba Salon and Irancartoon. The French cartoonist Gerald Vandenbroucke, also signed the deal between the Salon and France, enabling that more exhibitions, shows and exchanges happens between these countries, disseminating the humor's draw much more.

Brazilcartoon's director, Marcio Leite, was praised by the initiative of the website e was invited to hand in one of the prizes in the opening night.

The visitors could also see, besides de exhibition, some other works by Brazilcartoon e then, understand better the website.

The cartoonist Leite, praised a lot the event and told the website staff that " I've been accompanying closer the Piracicaba Salon for a long time, and nowadays, as an exhibitor, I saw closely the partnership that involves the culture's secretary with Rosangela Camollesi, and the organizing staff under the command of Zetti. They are people who make things work in a perfect way. Now I understand that the success of this salon is constructed on the backstage.
