The Results of the First International
Cartoon Contest on Global Warming and Environment
The jury has had a meeting
for the results of The First International Caricature Contest on
Global Warming and Environment which was organized by the
Municipality of Adapazar Merkez, at the address of the
Caricaturists Association in فstanbulon the date of 26/05//2007 and
evaluated total1078 works, enclosing 852works belonged to the 507
caricaturists from domestic and 226 works belonged to the 100
caricaturists from abroad ,
jury members ..oguz gurel,rait yakal,hfz kavray,osman suroglu
,eray ِzbek.....eray ِzbek was chosen as a chairman of the jury by
the jury members and evaluated the followings ;
1-The jury has not evaluated the works which were unoriginal or
digital printings, the caricatures which did not bear the
specification conditions, and the works which exceeded the
dimensions and more than 4 per capita or carried off, and printed
before or looking like them.
2-The plain patterns contained necessary items were preferred to the
works contained the unnecessary items
3- The several young caricaturists have not been evaluated because
of the poor quality pencils
4-The work on the register number 278 which joined the contest was
chosen as first, has deserved this degree by the reason of the fact
that It presented with a lovely graphic and a different basic
message(crackingan animal) ,in conjunction with using he cracking
items of a bear and soil
5-The caricatures on the register numbers 104 and 747 which joined
the contest have deserved to share the second prize because their
techniques are proper and variant idea.
6-The work on the register number 360 which joined the contest was
chosen as third, has deserved a prize because of its high technique
and plainness and very fitting items
