XXII. Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition June 2005

Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition has now completed its 22nd year as a firmly established event in the international arena.

1,199 artists from 90 countries, from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and varied world perspectives participated in the 22. Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition and sent in 2,996 cartoons. The Turkish jury members made the pre-selection and sent 228 works of 200 cartoonists from 44 countries to the main selection.

Semih Balcioglu(Turkey), Massoud Shojaei Tabatabaei (Iran),Adolf Born (Czech Rep./ President), Georges Wolinski(France) ,Latif Demirci(Turkey),Selcuk Demirel(Turkey), Ralph Steadman (UK), Gurbuz Dogan Eksioglu (Turkey) and Husamettin Kocan (Turkey) met in Antalya on the 20th of June.
